Join Us in Creating a Unique Community Garden Project in Hangdong, Namphrae!

Imagine a peaceful space where you can grow your own vegetables, herbs, or flowers, and even build a cozy **hut or bungalow made from wood or bamboo** for weekend getaways!  This exciting project is inspired by Germany’s "Schrebergärten" concept, and we’re bringing it to Chiang Mai! 

### What is a Schrebergarten?

In Germany, people rent small garden plots to cultivate plants, relax, and connect with nature. It’s all about sustainability, community, and creating your personal green oasis – and we want to recreate this experience here! 

### What We’re Offering:

 **Shaded plots**: The land is home to **large Teakwood trees** that provide natural shade and enhance the beauty of the space. These trees are protected and **cannot be cut down**. 

 **A shared community hut**: Includes a **lockable toilet** and space for storing tools. Perfect for gatherings or shared use!

 Flexible **garden plot sizes**: Starting from 200–400 sqm, with larger sizes available upon request.

 Build your own **wooden or bamboo hut** or bungalow for occasional stays (but not for permanent living).

 **Water supply during the dry season**: There is an existing connection to the village water supply that operates without electricity, ensuring your garden stays hydrated even in dry times. 

 **Solar-powered night lighting**: While there’s no electricity on-site, the space is equipped with **solar lamps** to ensure it’s safely lit at night. 

 Contracts available for up to **3 years** to give you stability and flexibility.

### Key Guidelines:

 **No main residences**: Overnight stays are allowed occasionally, but this isn’t for permanent living.

 **Eco-friendly materials encouraged**: Bamboo and wood are ideal for this natural setting.

 **Respect the environment**: Protecting the existing trees and promoting sustainable gardening practices are core principles of this project.

 **Community-driven**: We’re excited to bring together like-minded people who value nature and community.

 **Location**: Hangdong, Namphrae – accessible by car with potential parking space.
